| Mitsubishi Electric Ireland
Rather than mark its silver jubilee by reflecting on its
phenomenal success to date, Mitsubishi Electric Ireland has
unveiled a strategic development plan which is strongly focussed
on the next 25 years.
Over the past 12 months the company has been completely restructured
to take full advantage of the vast resources at its disposal.
An influx of young, highly-qualified personnel has re-energising
all aspects of its operations, as a result Staff numbers have
increased dramatically providing a progressive and dynamic
team.
Key personnel are now established in regional teams to ensure
nationwide coverage and comprehensive dealer/client support
at local level.
When Mitsubishi Electric relocated to this premises headquarters
at Westgate Business Park in Ballymount, in 1992 it
was a purpose-built, state-of-the art, building. However,
it too has received an overhaul to reflect the needs,
and imagery, of the 2007 operation.

The new Training Centre incorporates a lecture theatre and
workshop-type facilities featuring fully-functioning examples
of the company’s indoor and outdoor ac units and control
systems.
Plans are also underway to further improve the warehousing
and logistics so that products can be dispatched to site according
to a schedule customized to each dealer and project. Plans
include the development of a new despatch/trade counter to
further enhance customer support function within the organisation.
Mitsubishi Electric Ireland serves three distinct market
segments — air conditioning, industrial automation and
visual information systems.
The industrial division aims to meet the needs of industrial
customers by providing energy-saving components such as inverters
and programmable logic controllers. These are delivered through
a network of key distributors and systems integration partners.
A comprehensive array of supervisory and control software,
industrial human machine interfaces and fast mini-industrial
robots completes the range.
Mitsubishi Electric Air conditioning systems is the market-leading
brand in its sector. The portfolio caters for large facilities,
small offices, retail premises and homes. From the versatile
MSeries and the easy-to-install Mr Slim range, to flexible
City Multi models and energy-saving Lossnay heat exchange
systems, there's a Mitsubishi Electric climate control system
to suit every application.
What they all have in common is that they are designed to
provide cost-effective, energy-conscious systems while, at
the same time, incorporating the most advanced environment
friendly features such as inverter technology and the use
of chlorine-free refrigerants that are safe and have zero-depletion
potential.
As the foregoing illustrates, in marking the occasion of
its silver anniversary, Mitsubishi Electric Ireland is firmly
set on strengthening, consolidating and growing its market-leading
status over the next 25 years.
